Job Summary
Conduct inbound and outbound product inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and manage allergen labeling to prevent cross-contamination. Calibrate thermometers, monitor cooler temperatures, and perform routine inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate records. Assist with 2nd shift picking by applying QC verification labels, examine products, and take corrective actions for rejected loads. Track inventory levels to minimize waste, support vendor scorecard development, and generate quality reports as requested. Oversee disposal of expired products and perform glass and brittle plastic audits while collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Basic Microsoft Word & Excel Skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in various temperatures as cold as -10°F
- Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally
- Must possess manual dexterity to handle tools
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of quality control and/or inventory management experience
- Previous experience working with food allergens
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
- Bilingual in either Chinese or Spanish and English
