Job Summary
Add missing items, add ice, and inform flight assembly of missing carts or bulk-loaded items to ensure quality-controlled flights. Move catering equipment from staging areas to assigned loading docks per Dispatch or Dock Control instructions, then load flights into vehicles and assist drivers. Work independently or within a team while communicating clearly with co-workers. Perform duties outside in all weather conditions, including extreme temperature changes and noise, while lifting and moving items up to 75 pounds. Work shifts of 8+ hours involving standing, bending, and working at heights up to 25 feet.
Required Qualifications
- Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID
- Must Pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds
- Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
- Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Valid driving license is a plus
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures
