Job Summary
Dock Lead Technician responsible for overseeing repair and maintenance of commercial overhead doors and dock leveling systems in Norther Virginia. Performs troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; works from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts with PPE and fall protection. Requires experience diagnosing and repairing overhead steel doors, own tools, ability to lift 75 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. Company provides a vehicle with fuel card, cell phone, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial overhead steel doors
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Welding / fabricating experience a plus
- Individual must have their own tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Good driving record and active license
