Job Summary
Examine loads delivered to verify quantity and type of material, then write tickets documenting the truck number, job location, time, and material details. Report the amount of materials transported and maintain a clean work environment. Perform other duties as assigned, including completing or delegating tasks when key personnel are absent. Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read limited words and recognize number similarities, and certification to operate equipment. Must have an established record of excellent attendance and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between works and between series of numbers
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Certification to operate equipment
