Job Summary
Dock Builder: build floating docks in a partially outdoor environment, using hand tools such as hammers, drills, and impact drills. Move and stack heavy materials (up to 75 lbs), follow safety protocols, and perform general clean-up duties. Requires ability to read and pass tape measure tests (written and verbal), strong teamwork, and 2+ years of carpentry/construction experience. Full-time with overtime and temp-to-hire after probation; hours Mon-Fri with some Saturdays; pay scales by carpentry experience; location Castle Hayne, NC. Benefits include health, vision, dental, vacation, 401k after 60 days, and paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must read and use a regular tape measure (pass pre-employment written and verbal tape measure tests)
- 2+ years of construction-related experience strongly preferred
- Steel-toed boots required
- Reliable transportation and great attendance
