Job Summary
Load and unload trucks, inspect shipments and trailers, and weigh all incoming eggs. Transport eggs from cooler to staging area, maintain inventory and control shell egg rotation, and segregate clean and dirty materials. Complete and maintain compliance for all required paperwork, including documentation of quality and lot tracking issues. Reject incoming product when necessary and perform corrective actions. Clean cooler with floor scrubber and maintain a clean environment at all times. Assist as needed during breaks and cleanup. This role requires forklift experience and the ability to climb ladders up to 150ft.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, speak and write in English
- Ability and willingness to learn computer skills
- Powered pallet jack and/or forklift experience
- Must be able to read and follow written instruction, policies and procedures
- Positive team oriented attitude
- Able to train others
- Stand and walk constantly
- Grip, grasp, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, lift up to 60 pounds frequently
- Sit, climb, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to climb up to 150ft by ladder
- Clothing must be worn based on seasonal weather conditions
- All personal protective equipment will be provided and required during certain working conditions and in certain areas
