Job Summary
Welcome guests to the marina, tie up vessels upon arrival, and check guests into the marina while responding to their needs. Provide onsite customer service for residence, club members, transient marina guests, and hotel guests by answering questions about the property and surrounding attractions. Fuel vessels as PIC, containing and cleaning up any fuel spills, and attend annual fuel training. Accept packages or arrange deliveries, provide pump-out services, and maintain ice inventory on each wharf. Patrol the docks while keeping radio contact with the office to maintain safety standards, cast off lines for departing boats, and notify the office of departures. Drive golf carts in tight areas. This role requires a valid Florida driver's license, ability to operate golf carts, and physical stamina for hot, muggy weather and lifting up to 80 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to operate golf carts
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license
- Must have the ability to communicate in English effectively
- Must have the ability to work in hot, muggy, and inclement weather conditions on a continuous basis
- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above
