Job Summary
Drive forklift and pallet jack to load and move pallets, wrap items, record weights, and stage products for loading. Load product into trailers, ensure correct paperwork, locate pallets by freight bill, assign labels, seal and release trailers, and maintain overall area organization and cleanliness. Perform other duties as assigned. This role operates Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm at a Milwaukee Tool manufacturing plant in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Required Qualifications
- Requires education equivalent to four years of high school
- 1 year experience of operating forklift/pallet jack in production/distribution facility
- Operation of motorized electric pallet jack experience
- Able to work in various temperature conditions
- Must be able to bend, stoop, push, and pull tools and boxes
- Must be able to drive forklift/pallet jack to load and move pallets
- Must be able to wrap pallets
- Must be able to record weight
- Must be able to stage pallets to be loaded
- Must be able to load product into trailer
- Must be able to ensure all carriers receive the correct paperwork
- Must be able to locate pallets by freight bill and assign labels
- Must be able to seal and release trailers
- Must be able to perform overall organization and cleaning of area
