Job Summary
Lead Dock and Door Technician responsible for overseeing and assisting in repair of overhead door and dock leveling systems within the New Jersey territory. Performs maintenance and repairs on commercial/industrial overhead doors, troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic subsystems, works from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts with PPE and fall protection, and requires ownership of personal tools. Must have experience diagnosing/repairing overhead steel doors, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, ability to lift 75 pounds, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Company provides vehicle and benefits; position paid hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial overhead steel doors
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Individual must have their own tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Good driving record and active license
