Job Summary
Develop and maintain custom VS Code extensions that integrate Large Language Models into the Software Development Lifecycle. Automate routine SDLC tasks and data parsing using Python, while designing, testing, and fine-tuning AI prompts to ensure deterministic outputs meeting strict TRUE/FAIL evaluation criteria. Build and scale these tools to align with aerospace standards and DO-178C objectives, leveraging REST APIs and web server applications. Requires 3+ years of experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and VS Code Extension API development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong, hands-on experience using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js, with specific expertise in the VS Code Extension API
- Proven experience automating software development processes and building data pipelines using Python (or similar languages) and relevant packages along with VS Code Extension Development / REST APIs
- Demonstrated ability to engineer, test, and refine prompts for LLMs to achieve consistent, highly accurate, and reliable results
- Understanding of DO-178C objectives, specifically concerning Development SDLC life cycle
- 3+ years
Desired Qualifications
- Additional course or certification in Business Analysis
