Job Summary

Coordinate and provide leadership for all aspects of the DNP-Nurse Anesthesia Program, including curriculum development, accreditation maintenance, and budget preparation. Manage program administration, faculty oversight, and student recruitment while ensuring quality clinical experiences through collaboration with clinical partners and stakeholders. Develop, implement, and review curriculum alongside internal and external assessment processes, including annual reports and accreditation submissions with the Council on Accreditation and Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Maintain a teaching workload for classroom, clinical, and laboratory instruction, and oversee the nurse anesthesia residency experience in partnership with clinical affiliation sites. Participate in annual candidate selection, community advisory groups, and specialty organizations to remain current on industry issues. Support faculty evaluation and ensure appropriate coordination of didactic and simulation aspects of the program.

Required Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted license to practice as an RN/advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in the State of Ohio-Ohio Board of Nursing
  • Current certification and recertification for Nurse Anesthetists: National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification- American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification- American Heart Association
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice, or a Doctor of Philosophy
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Minimum 2-years or more experience in the certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) role in the clinical practice setting
  • Micro-credential (required) Didactic Educator
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed- not to exceed 10% travel
  • Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions

  • Minimum 1-year teaching/education experience
  • Accreditation experience
