Job Summary
Maintain and influence Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency for the title & registration team. Apply 50-state DMV knowledge regarding title and registration processing while adhering to multi-state compliance and lawful supervisor directions. Uphold company non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and execute other duties as assigned. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, DMV operations experience, and proficiency with computer software. The position is remote (USA only) with a base pay range of $40,000 - $78,000. Caramel is a venture-backed auto tech company headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with DMV operations within the automotive industry
- Ability to efficiently work from a home office environment
- Knowledge of automobile terminology and purchase and sale documentation
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to clearly speak and listen to others in person, via computerized virtual meetings and over the phone
- Ability to type using a keyboard and read from computer screen and reports
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
