Job Summary
DMS Systems Project Specialist responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery at Lithia & Driveway, driving initiatives from concept to go-live within automotive DMS environments. Collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute system migrations, acquisitions, integrations, and go-live implementations. Acts as primary liaison with vendors, reviews contracts/pricing/services, configures system settings for go-live, and provides stakeholder-focused communication and status updates. Requires experience with DMS platforms (CDK), Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, and automation tools; familiarity with HTML/SQL; strong organization and proactive problem-solving; travel up to 25% and remote work flexibility on the West Coast.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–5 years of project coordination, planning, or implementation experience
- Experience in automotive or DMS platforms (CDK)
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, and automation tools
- Exposure to HTML, SQL, or basic scripting/programming (preferred)
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
