DMP Alarm Support Specialist

Job Summary
Technical support role for DMP security systems: assist installers and service techs with initial setup and programming of new and existing systems; provide customer support for operation and connectivity to alarm systems; guide customers in using phone-based apps for alarm connectivity; document work, maintain organized job site, and collaborate with team on DMP questions related to programming and operation; physical duties include lifting and working in varied environments; position involves working with DMP security, fire, CCTV, and access control products; salary range $30-$40/hour DOE; benefits include health/dental/vision, life insurance, 401K, paid time off, company vehicle where applicable; location is Brookfield, CT with nationwide hiring and on-the-job training to help license/work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in the fire alarm/security alarm/access control/CCTV industry as a technician
- Extensive experience with entire DMP product line
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- NICET Level I or above preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Must be able to keep current on new technology with minimum assistance
