Job Summary
Apply and fit splints, braces, and a variety of Durable Medical Equipment (DME); remove sutures and provide wound care as applicable; educate patients on the use and care of DME (braces, crutches, canes, walkers) and ensure patients sign Proof of Delivery (POD); document care and charges in the patient’s electronic medical record; set up, prepare, and maintain DME and supply rooms; and room patients as needed to maintain clinic flow.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and procedures
- Customer service principles
