DME Coordinator

Facilitate ordering of durable medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies for the Rehabilitation Department prior to patient discharge. Coordinate necessary documentation including physician prescriptions, justification letters, and progress notes, while managing insurance authorizations and delivery logistics with suppliers. Receive, organize, and oversee routine safety and maintenance checks for all equipment and adaptive devices. Maintain communication with the UWMC health care team regarding patient status and needs.
