Job Summary
Coordinate the overall provision of respiratory care, plan, develop and implement respiratory care programs; set up PAP therapy as ordered by physicians; educate patients on proper use of equipment; monitor patient compliance data; conduct patient and physician follow-up on PAP patients per departmental policy; perform respiratory and PAP therapy equipment setup and monitoring; communicate with physicians and serve as a resource on PAP therapy; participate in process improvement initiatives; adapt communication and procedures to different patient populations; travel to patient homes when needed; on-call duties in support of patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid state license/certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support Certification through American Heart Association
- Education: Associates degree in Science or related field; Graduate of an AMA-approved school of respiratory therapy
