Job Summary
Review patient account open balances and assign or review ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to outpatient medical records. Resubmit claims for incorrect denials. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2-3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within home care services, and Medical Biller/Coder certification. Full-time role with competitive compensation including medical, vision, and dental insurance, plus 13 days of PTO. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
Desired Qualifications
