Job Summary
Plan new MyBus tours and product lines to meet FIT demand while arranging buses, guides, admissions, and tickets. Improve operational efficiency and profitability by resolving daily delays and handling customer complaints. Manage special requests, negotiate operator prices and itineraries, and set up promotional campaigns for web customers and agencies. Respond to inquiries from the sales team and travel agencies, maintain customer bases through quality service, and report costs and profits monthly. Speak fluently in Japanese and utilize judgment in interactions with operators and related parties.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in the travel industry, or equivalent skills, in the area of their own expertise
- Possesses sufficient knowledge and skills to perform day-to-day responsibilities
- Speaks, reads, and writes fluently in Japanese language
- May be required to work after normal business hours and weekends
- Work can be performed remotely but may be required to report to the Los Angeles Office two times per week or as required
- Infrequent (two times per year) domestic travel by air is required
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
