Job Summary
Lead SAP Digital Manufacturing implementation projects as the primary customer-facing consultant, managing delivery execution, solution design, and stakeholder communication across all phases of the SAP Activate methodology. Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, guide configuration decisions, and coordinate cross-functional workstreams including integration with PP, QM, PM, IM, and EWM modules. Own project plans, risk management, and change requests while supporting testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live activities. Act as a trusted advisor to drive client transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Travel up to 25% to client locations across North America. Join the SAP Digital Manufacturing team supporting complex enterprise environments and advanced manufacturing facilities like the Porsche-Schuler joint venture.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing, MES, or digital manufacturing consulting experience
- Experience leading or coordinating enterprise software implementation projects
- Ability to manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and executive-level status communication
- Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing consulting skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% to client locations across North America
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing, MES, or related manufacturing solutions
- Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes and shop floor execution
- Experience with SAP Activate or similar implementation methodologies
- Experience supporting integration with SAP manufacturing and supply chain modules such as PP, QM, PM, IM, or EWM
- Passion for learning new SAP technologies and delivering innovative manufacturing transformation projects
- SAP Production Planning (PP) implementation experience
- Formal project management experience in consulting or client delivery environments
- PMP, Scrum, SAP, or relevant industry certifications
- Experience with presales support, solution demos, and effort estimation
- An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- SAP and industry certifications
- PMP, Scrum, or related project management certifications
