DJBOSS: Specialist, Logistics Support (Work Control)

Job Summary
Develop logistical plans, policies, and procedures for supply, transportation, maintenance, and services. Coordinate the logistics support structure and interface between transportation, maintenance, and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer work order inquiries, providing timely resolution and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Create, prioritize, and dispatch unscheduled work orders to appropriate trade disciplines while maintaining accurate dual-entry records in KBR and NAVY Maximo systems. Monitor and troubleshoot work control system issues, recommend corrective actions, and analyze work management processes to develop performance metrics that improve operational efficiency. Respond to data calls, reports, and Requests for Information within established service-level requirements, and partner with customers to communicate operational priorities to management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in facilities management, maintenance operations, work control, dispatching, customer service, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably IBM Maximo
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Strong organizational, administrative, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
