Job Summary
Sr Full Stack Python / Django Developer to join Channel Factory’s growing team. Lead technical design discussions, make architectural decisions for new features and systems, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end features across the stack. Optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance; provide feedback during code reviews; establish ownership of components or systems; manage priorities and deadlines; collaborate with distributed teams across multiple time zones (including offshore). Build relationships and foster team cohesion across geographical and cultural boundaries while leveraging Python/Django, ReactJS, JavaScript, PHP, CI/CD, AWS, Postgres/OpenSearch/Redis, and distributed data technologies. Occasional travel for in-person collaboration, meetings, trainings, etc.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience leading and mentoring junior developers
- Expert proficiency with Python / Django
- Strong proficiency with ReactJS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, web infrastructure, and tooling for automated testing and deployment
- In-depth experience with cloud-based services (AWS)
- Experience with Postgres, OpenSearch, Redis
- Experience with distributed data technologies (RabbitMQ, Celery)
- Knowledge of digital advertising is a plus
- This role may involve occasional travel for in-person collaboration, meetings, trainings, etc.
