Job Summary
Dixie BBQ Prep Cook prepares, processes, and maintains quality of proteins and related menu items, performing tasks such as cooking, case cutting, price marking, inventory, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced, guest-facing kitchen. The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication with supervisors, accuracy in producing pars and production levels, multitasking, and maintaining quality standards during opening, mid-day, and closing duties. Candidates should have restaurant or deli experience, be comfortable with mornings/evenings/weekends, possess strong math skills to calculate pars, exhibit exceptional customer service, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and a Food Handler’s Permit is required. The location is Saint George, Utah, USA, and the role is on-site full-time.
