Job Summary
Divisional Wealth Management Consultant leading sales within a defined Territory Team for Upstate New York & Erie. Educate, train, and motivate financial advisors across channels to increase territory sales. Role emphasizes a business-owner mindset, self-motivation, and structured, process-oriented work. Approximately 75% in-person engagement with financial advisors and 25% virtual, requiring strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver concise, persuasive messages. Requires a finance/economics/statistics-related degree, 3+ years in front-of-advisors experience, and applicable securities licenses (Series 7 and 66 or 7/63/65). Proficiency with analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Backset) and the ability to leverage technology for custom analyses. Compliance with capital group values and a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a relevant field of study
- 3+ years of experience as an internal wholesaler or front of advisors/clients
- Licenses: Series 7 and 66 or 7, 63, and 65
- Proven track record selling mutual funds, ETFs, and Retirement Plan products
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to travel and engage financial advisors in person (75%) and virtually (25%)
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Backset (and related tools)
Desired Qualifications
- Series 7 and 66 or 7, 63, and 65 licenses

- Ability to travel to engage Financial Advisors in person (approximately 75% in person)
