Job Summary
Divisional Wealth Management Consultant responsible for driving sales as part of a Territory Team, educating, training, and motivating financial advisors from all channels to increase territory sales. Role emphasizes presenting to individuals, small and large groups and investors; 75% in-person, 25% virtual engagement across Raleigh, Southern Virginia, and Tri-Cities. Requires a degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field, 3+ years of internal wholesaler experience, relevant licenses (Series 7 and 66 or 7/63/65), and strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and supporting tools; must deliver clear, concise, and persuasive presentations and collaborate with Senior Sales Force members to identify opportunities for better investor outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a relevant field of study
- 3+ years of experience as an internal wholesaler
- Proven track record selling mutual funds, ETFs, and Retirement Plan products
- Licenses: Series 7 and 66 or 7, 63, and 65
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to deliver persuasive, concise, and well-organized presentations
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Backset
- Ability to synthesize information and present it in a distilled manner
- Capacity to manage and engage a sales territory (Raleigh, Southern Virginia, Tri-Cities)
- Hybrid work arrangement with approximately 75% in-person and 25% virtual engagement
