Job Summary
Recruit, support, and develop a team of up to 40 Mortgage and Protection Advisers to achieve individual business plans and drive income through lead sourcing, productivity improvement, and cross-selling. Monitor, implement, and evaluate business sales targets to achieve required revenue and protection sales growth in line with budget. Fulfill the role of Supervisor within the network's Performance Management Scheme, ensuring robust processes are in place for consistent, high-quality customer service. Act as the 'Champion' for the fully protected mortgage concept, working closely with Training and Compliance Teams to develop adviser training needs. Collaborate with Estate Agency and New Homes Introducers to ensure a joined-up approach to business development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Industry relevant Professional Qualification (i.e. CeMap or a similar qualification)
- Minimum of 2 years in a Sales Management role
- Experience with Mortgage and Protection Advisers within an estate agency or retail environment
- Excellent level of technical and e-commerce knowledge particularly relevant to the housing and mortgage market
- Experience in leading, motivating and influencing sales people in a customer facing environment
- Results orientated
- Ability to embrace accountability and responsibility
- An excellent knowledge of Financial Services' core products
- Practical understanding of regulatory issues and the impact on each and every sale
- In-depth understanding of Estate Agency business practices
- Expert knowledge of the housing market and mortgage broking best practice
- Working knowledge of how to identify and maximise business opportunities within the estate agency environment
- Working knowledge of legislation impacting on a Financial Services business, specifically a mortgage and protection business
- A good level of technical and e-commerce knowledge in order to train Mortgage and Protection Advisers to promote our services efficiently and effectively
