Job Summary
Lead retirement-plan sales initiatives in the Retirement Plan Sales market across the Chicago region and surrounding states. Educate, train, and motivate financial advisers and other financial intermediaries to raise and retain assets for Capital Group. Deliver motivational, informative presentations and build relationships with financial advisors, consultants, TPAs, and plan sponsors. Approximately 60% travel in person (and 40% virtual) to engage with Financial Advisors, Consultants, TPAs, and Sponsors. Territory includes Chicago, IA, WI, MN, and the Dakotas. Requires Series 6/7 (or willingness to obtain Series 7), Series 63/65 or 66, and designations such as AIF/AIFA/PPC/CIMA/CFA. Strong knowledge of mutual funds and retirement plan sales, with a proven track record in retirement plan sales and the ability to leverage technology for custom analysis.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of financial services sales experience
- Series 6 or 7 (or willing to obtain Series 7) and Series 63/65 or 66
- Licenses: Series 6 or 7; Series 63/65 or 66
- designations: AIF, AIFA, PPC, CIMA, CFA
- strong knowledge of mutual funds and retirement plan sales
- ability to educate and motivate financial advisers and intermediaries
- experience selling to plan sponsors and investors
- proven track record of sales success in retirement plan sales
- excellent communicator with presentation and training skills
- willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time
