Job Summary
Lead, train, and mentor a team of fundraising professionals to cultivate and steward major gifts from individuals, foundations, government agencies, and corporations across the Arkansas and Oklahoma regions. Respond to donor inquiries, manage long-term relationships, and ensure accountability for team members while achieving fundraising goals. Based in Central Oklahoma with regular travel including occasional overnight trips and conference participation. Requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and five years of progressive fundraising experience in a charitable organization. This role supports The Salvation Army's mission of meeting human needs through food distribution, disaster relief, and housing programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred, but not required) from an accredited college or university (preferably in a related field of study) AND five years' experience performing progressively responsible fundraising work in a charitable organization with demonstrated successful major donor fund raising experience preferred
- Experience in leading a team of fund-raising professionals
- Proven history of establishing and maintaining strong long-term donor relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Track record of achieving goals
- Prior experience with a donor management system
- Valid State Driver's License
- Active Christian faith in harmony with Salvation Army doctrine and practice

Desired Qualifications

- Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) or Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive (ACFRE)
