Job Summary
Manage the Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Assurance and Quality Control program for all divisions, selecting and coordinating quality personnel who perform audit, inspection, surveillance, and testing activities. Interpret contract quality requirements to establish inspection, testing, and quality service activities for projects, while interfacing with corporate advisors for technical support and reporting on challenges and opportunities. Prepare weekly reports for divisional and corporate management, provide training on quality control implementation and documentation maintenance, and assist project teams in troubleshooting and resolving reported quality issues. Monitor and report E&I quality metrics, coordinate third-party testing agencies, and participate in periodic corporate quality improvement meetings. This role requires extensive knowledge of construction quality control for oil and gas, Master Electrical Licenses, and familiarity with NFPA 70E, with a full-time schedule involving travel to project sites and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of construction quality control activities for oil and gas and maintenance projects
- 5 Years in E&I Quality Management
- Knowledge of principles of NFPA70E in the workplace
- Interpersonal skills at a high level
- Initiative and creative problem-solving skills
- High level of commitment to safety
- The ability to work as a team player within a dynamic and continuously changing work environment
- Physically mobile and reasonable level of fitness
- Travel required for project support
- The satisfactory completion of a background screen
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk the property and laydown yards
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Hold one or more Master Electrical Licenses (preferred)
