Job Summary
Divisional HR Manager partnering with the General Manager and Divisional Sales Managers to provide professional HR service to Ackermans’ Central SBU (Free State, Northern Cape, North West) by advising store managers, shaping people plans, recruiting top retail talent, managing performance and succession, handling employee relations and industrial relations, coordinating training, implementing HR policies, and driving change as part of the People Strategy across the division.
Required Qualifications
- Essential: Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or Degree in Social Sciences
- Preferred: Diploma in Labour Law
- Knowledge of Labour Legislation and EE laws
- Retail industry experience preferred
- Strong business and retail understanding
- Best Practice in recruitment process
- Dismissal and CCMA/Labour Commission procedures
- Change management at store and divisional level
- Performance management at store level
- Coordination of training interventions
- Succession monitoring and coordination
- HR Generalist experience in retail (min 3 years)
- Business partner role
- Talent management
- Induction of new employees
- Co-ordination of training and development initiatives
- Succession planning
- Employee Relations
- Management of industrial relations including Labour Commission cases
