Job Summary
Divisional Director of Corporate Engagement for The Salvation Army Southern California Division leads strategic corporate partnerships, foundation relations, grant development, sponsorships, volunteer engagement, community engagement, and in-kind support. Responsibilities include developing and implementing annual strategies to grow corporate and foundation revenue, expanding volunteer engagement, strengthening donor stewardship, soliciting and securing financial support and in-kind donations, preparing customized proposals and stewardship materials, leading donor meetings and site visits, coordinating with corps officers and divisional staff, supervising grant development and foundation fundraising activities, and ensuring cross-team collaboration to support proposals, budgets, outcomes, and donor communications. Requires strong relationship-building, fundraising strategy, staff leadership, donor management system proficiency, and willingness to travel within the Southern California Division.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, foundation relations, grant development, business development, community engagement, or related field.
