Job Summary

Lead and direct Omnium and Plant Nutrition Quality Control/Quality Assurance activities, managing all plant labs and their personnel across multiple US locations. Oversee a team of 30+ professionals while supervising new product development, enforcing QA/QC policies, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Manage multi-million dollar capital projects, departmental budgets, and cost reduction initiatives, interfacing with plants, external customers, and Land O'Lakes R&D for complaint resolution and international development support. Coordinate engineering, construction, and process development efforts while driving continuous improvement and performance management within the Supply Chain Organization.

Required Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other relevant education
  • 10+ years in the Chemical, Fertilizer or Adhesive Industry driving fundamental process capability improvements, capital upgrades and supporting new product and technology implementations
  • A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in a chemical or manufacturing industry
  • Strong leadership who is results-driven with focus on future growth and optimization
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement projects
  • Must be excellent in written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of personal responsibility and initiative
  • Must possess a high level of integrity as well as excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Acts with integrity, delivers results and Shape the Future
  • Change Management, Influence, and Leadership are a must
  • Ability to solve technical problems as they arise and make decisions on how a problem's solution will impact the immediate problem and the system
  • Proven capability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines while managing stakeholder expectations
  • Demonstrated skills showing appreciation for people with diverse backgrounds, perspective, and identities

Desired Qualifications

  • 5 plus years in Agricultural chemicals with lab and process development experience highly desirable
  • Masters of Science Degree (Chemistry, or related field)
