Job Summary
Division Sales Manager leads national and OEM sales efforts for a manufacturing company, managing inside/outside sales staff, distributors, and OEMs; develops short and long-term sales growth plans, analyzes sales data, targets new customers, coordinates cross-functional activities (Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing, Inside Sales), writes reports and annual budgets, administers commissions, and travels up to 50% to drive revenue and profitability. Requires 5+ years in gear pumps/sales, a BS in Engineering or Business (advanced degree desired), strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with internal gear pumps, external gear pumps, and positive displacement pumps for the OEM and process market
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Business required
- Advanced degree desired
- One to three years of experience in management and five to seven years of related sales/pump experience are required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is also required
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
