Job Summary
Provide administrative support for Division Orders and Owner Relations by handling file research, data input, and mail disbursing. Perform routine owner account setups and pay code changes within Quorum while maintaining accurate name and address data for lessors and partners. Analyze legal documents to verify transfer information and research ownership through laws of descent and distribution. Respond to inquiries from mineral owners, title attorneys, and internal staff regarding property interests. Requires basic knowledge of the Division Order process, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under moderate supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of the Division Order process
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications, with a general understanding of company database computer systems (i.e., Excel, Word)
- Able to set priorities and follow through with assigned tasks with moderate supervision
- Ability to get along and cooperate with others
- Ability to respond politely to the general public
- Ability to continue to perform well under pressure and put in extra hours as needed
- Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, and math
- High School diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Able to complete work accurately on a timely basis
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience in Division Orders or Owner Relations
