Job Summary
Oversee all collection and post-collections operations, representing the Company to customers, vendors, and municipal stakeholders while driving change management initiatives. Implement strategic plans, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure quality and budget performance through regular P&L reviews. Lead personnel needs including selection, coaching, training, and performance evaluation while maintaining compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental standards. Monitor fleet and equipment maintenance, optimize equipment utilization, and negotiate contracts with local agencies to improve efficiency. Develop short-term and long-term goals in conjunction with the Market Area Manager or Regional Vice President to sustain Business Unit growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Previous leadership experience
- 10 years of experience in business or logistics
- Commitment to creating and maintaining a safe working environment
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics
- Certification in Project Management
- Excellent proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office applications
