Job Summary

Lead the division's total operations, ensuring safety compliance with zero loss time injuries and managing profit/loss outcomes, estimating, and business development. Oversee project execution, cash flow, and labor productivity through weekly and bi-weekly reviews while maintaining adherence to state, client, and company occupational health regulations. Drive annual strategic planning and succession development for key employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and diplomatic candor. Manage risk exposure on large construction projects and maintain professional relationships with major customers to diversify the client base. Report quarterly on business reviews and annually on strategic objectives, HR leadership development, and business plans.

Required Qualifications

  • A university degree in engineering or construction technology with a concentration in the required division discipline
  • Extensive knowledge of established construction and maintenance practices, procedures and techniques
  • Applicable local and provincial labour codes
  • Managerial experience in a union environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend applicable financial statements
