Job Summary

Lead the development of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, pancreatology and nutrition services within Henry Ford Health, with opportunities for a faculty appointment at Michigan State University and Wayne State University. Clinical responsibilities include ambulatory and inpatient care, consultative services, and performance of general pediatric GI procedures. Responsible for supervising and educating medical students and residents. Competence in general pediatric GI procedures required. The role supports a clinical leadership track within a large academic health system and involves collaboration across centers of excellence and research initiatives. Requires an MD/DO/PhD (or equivalent), completion of an ACGME-approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Michigan Medical Board licensure, and ABP subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible). The position is based in Dearborn, MI, with extensive academic and teaching opportunities across affiliated universities.

Required Qualifications

  • M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
  • Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • Licensed by the Michigan Medical Board
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same)
