Job Summary
Division Head sought for the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Pancreatology and Nutrition. The role includes leading the development of pediatric GI services with opportunities for a faculty appointment within Michigan State University and Wayne State University, supervising medical students and residents, and providing ambulatory and inpatient pediatric GI care with competence in general pediatric GI procedures. This leadership position involves guiding academic and clinical components of growth, collaborating with partner institutions, and contributing to research initiatives within a large academic health system. Required qualifications include an MD/DO (or equivalent), completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship, Michigan Medical Board licensure, and ABP certification (or eligibility) in pediatric gastroenterology. Location: Detroit, MI, USA.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Licensed by the Michigan Medical Board
- Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same)
- Any additional clinical leadership experience or qualifications as determined by Henry Ford Health
