Job Summary
Lead the development of pediatric gastroenterology services across Michigan campuses, including ambulatory and inpatient care, consultative services, and performance of general GI procedures. Oversee supervision and education of medical students and residents, participate in academic development and research collaborations, and drive the growth of centers of excellence within Henry Ford Health in partnership with Michigan State University and Wayne State University. The role includes talent development, potential faculty appointments, and integration of clinical and academic missions within a large academic health system.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Licensed by the Michigan Medical Board
- Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same)
