Job Summary
Division Head in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Pancreatology and Nutrition. Leads development of pediatric GI services with potential faculty appointment at Michigan State University and Wayne State University. Responsible for ambulatory and inpatient clinical care, consultative services, and general GI procedures; oversees education and supervision of medical students and residents; drives establishment of centers of excellence and supports academic and clinical integration across multiple sites. Collaboration with affiliated institutions and leadership opportunities within the department and system are emphasized. Requires MD/DO, ACGME fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Michigan medical licensure, and ABP subspecialty certification (or eligibility).
Required Qualifications
- MD, Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Licensed by the Michigan Medical Board
- Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same)
