Job Summary
Own quarter-end close processes, including variance analysis, balance sheet reviews, and reconciliations. Drive bookings, shipments, and revenue recognition while managing cost of service, headcount planning, and production capacity. Lead annual strategic planning, budgeting, and financial projections for engineering programs, presenting PLC reviews to executive management. Build and develop a dedicated finance team, optimize financial models, and partner with senior leaders to analyze cost drivers and sales trends. Manage Opex spend alignment and lead process improvement initiatives to support business decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Strong accounting foundation with the ability to apply accounting principles to financial analysis
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including the ability to synthesize large or complex datasets
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‐paced environment, prioritize effectively, and multitask
- High attention to detail and quality of work, with a strong motivation to learn and improve
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and proactively solve problems independently
- Bachelors' Degree plus 8 years' experience; or Masters' Degree plus 6 years' experience; or PhD plus 3 years' experience
- 2+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience using automation to improve reporting efficiency is a plus
- Working knowledge of AI enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance financial analysis, reporting, and decision support
