Job Summary
Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy and roadmap aligned with firm goals while owning the IT budget, including annual planning, forecasting, and cost optimization. Establish governance practices and policies balancing security with usability, then manage vendor relationships, software licensing, and third-party consultants to ensure reliable, secure delivery of infrastructure and applications. Oversee cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and business continuity planning for critical systems across three locations. This exempt, salary position offers a hybrid work environment. GHA is an employee-owned civil engineering and land surveying firm with a personal approach.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be available for periodic travel up to 30%
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an engineering, AEC, or professional services environment supporting design/production workflows and related applications
- Familiarity with Autodesk, Bentley, and Bluebeam administration and licensing
- Experience overseeing VDI environments (e.g., Nutanix-based VDI) including capacity planning, performance management, and lifecycle planning with a service provider
- Working knowledge of modern endpoint management and security tooling (e.g., MDM/UEM, EDR/MDR), and security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF)
- Service management and project delivery experience (e.g., ITIL-aligned practices, formal project management methodologies)
