Job Summary
Division Controller responsible for end-to-end accounting cycle under US GAAP, financial reporting and analysis for the division. Oversees monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, consolidates statements, manages AP/AR, payroll support, internal controls, and tax filings. Develops and implements financial policies, builds financial models for forecasting and planning, and analyzes cash flow and working capital. Leads the implementation of Sage Fixed Assets and Sage 100 enhancements, documents accounting policies, and supports budgeting, forecasting, and pricing models. Produces financial reports and presentations highlighting key metrics and trends; monitors performance, identifies improvements, and recommends solutions; performs variance analysis and assesses risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a divisional controller role or similar accounting leadership position
- Proven experience in all aspects of the accounting cycle, including financial reporting and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., GAAP, ERP systems)
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling is a plus
