Job Summary
Academic Division Chief of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Transplant & Cellular Therapy at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Lead the division’s clinical, teaching, and research missions; provide patient care as a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist and/or Stem Cell Transplant physician at UW Health Kids locations; oversee division operations and strategic initiatives; mentor medical students, residents, and fellows; foster program development and faculty career progression; develop and expand clinical and translational research; engage in administrative duties and committees; promote diversity and inclusive excellence; collaborate to secure extramural funding; position identified as 100% on-site with leadership responsibilities and opportunities for clinical and scholarly activity.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility in American Board of Pediatrics in Hematology/Oncology
- Completion of an ACGME-approved pediatric residency program
- Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology through the American Board of Hematology/Oncology
- Wisconsin medical license by appointment start date
- Eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and all hospital privileges by appointment start date
- MD, DO, or equivalent is required
