Job Summary
Conduct engineering project support by researching design proposals, analyzing specifications, and interpreting blueprints to develop CAD shop drawings for architectural review. Perform manufacturability research, assess compliance with plan specifications and building codes, and identify product process instabilities to recommend solutions. Coordinate with clients and project managers to resolve issues, manage material releases to production, and communicate project information across departments. Maintain complete and current documentation while ensuring all deliverables meet customer specifications and established deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- two years of additional computer training
- knowledge of structural steel
- knowledge of miscellaneous metals
- ability to read and interpret drawings
- ability to interpret contract specifications
- AutoCAD
