Job Summary
Lead project planning and execution by developing hardware schedules, reviewing shop drawings for wood and hollow metal systems, and overseeing architectural specifications. Provide strategic input on budgets and cost control while managing change orders and submittals to ensure alignment with scope and profitability. Direct Assistant Project Managers, monitor engineering and production activities, and serve as the primary contact for customers, contractors, and vendors regarding technical inquiries. Maintain strong supplier relationships and keep management informed of project status, risks, and key issues. This full-time role reports to the Branch Manager with a base salary of $60,000-$90,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Prior project management and technical experience in construction, doors, frames, or hardware industry
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, specifications, and industry standards
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/software tools
