Job Summary
Operate roll dividing and bread rounding equipment to straighten dough balls and place them into pie tins per specifications. Monitor conveyors for jams, clear jams safely, and inspect products for damage or conformity to standards. Push material between machines using dollies, start and stop conveyors via control panels, and attend the box former by managing magazines and clearing jams. Assist with ingredient loading into mixers, maintain a clean work area through sanitation tasks, and report all equipment problems or non-conformance immediately. Follow safety procedures, understand operating instructions, and perform mathematical calculations for measurements while working on a shift basis in a high-noise environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of general warehouse / production work experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English
- Ability to write routine quality assurance reports and correspondence in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
