Job Summary
Conduct a comprehensive application for the Diversity Fellowship Summer 2027 Law Clerk position by submitting a combined PDF containing a typed personal statement (1500 words maximum), resume, current transcripts, financial aid award letter, and two letters of recommendation. Participate in a selection committee interview if advanced as a finalist, with decisions finalized by October 15 for the subsequent summer. Submit all materials by September 15 to secure a paid summer associate role in one of our offices, accompanied by a $5000 academic scholarship.
Required Qualifications
- Second year law student
- Enrolled in an accredited law school
- Typed personal statement (1500 word maximum)
- Resume
- Current transcripts (unofficial okay)
- Most recent financial aid award letter
- Two (2) letters of recommendation and/or references
- Undergraduate educational info (school, major, degree/year, cumulative GPA, glass rank, honors/awards, extracurricular activities)
- Law school educational info (school, date of graduation, cumulative GPA, class rank, honors, etc.)
- Legal career plans + offers for employment
- Community involvement/contributions to diversity groups in law school and/or over the last four years
