Job Summary
Lead the implementation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the Social and Community Mission, driving workforce development and quality improvement. Embed inclusive practice by developing resources, providing specialist guidance, and establishing data-informed monitoring and Communities of Practice. Build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration, while coordinating participation in key diversity events and advocating for equitable outcomes. Support workforce inclusion by enhancing the engagement and sense of belonging for employees from historically underrepresented groups. This permanent part-time hybrid role (19 hours/week) reports to the Head of Social and Community Mission, with flexible location options in Blackburn, VIC, or Redfern, NSW.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary degree qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Development or related field
- Demonstrated commensurate level of sector knowledge through previous appointments and professional development
- At least 5 years' experience in a community services role
- A current Employee Working with Children Check
- A mandatory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
