Job Summary
Diversified Technician provides basic nursing care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, following predefined guidelines and infection-control standards. Responsibilities include routine clerical and receptionist duties, coordinating with the nurse manager and patient care team, and executing tasks to support patient care in an Emergency Department setting. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent; CNA program and Mississippi CNA license are preferred, with BCLS certification required upon hire and de-escalation training by orientation. Previous hospital/healthcare experience is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment are essential to support patient care within the nursing unit, while handling the physical demands of a hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program preferred
- Mississippi CNA license preferred
- BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer
- De-escalation training by orientation end (90 days)
- Nursing Assistant experience preferred
- Experience in Emergency Department preferred
- Ability to perform clerical/receptionist duties as designated
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and travel within service area
